Out-of-Home advertising has its own charm & benefits. The glimpse of which was recently seen in Helsinki, Finland. The promotion of WEGE POPS ice cream was carried on by MKTG Event Company, which involved Mop/Up Kiosks. The idea was to use two pieces of mop up kiosks drivers and fill them up with ice creams in order to promote the launch of the new WEGE POPS. The Mop/Up kiosks attracted extra attention from the passers by, at downtown Helsinki.
Despite the fact that the downtown was crowded, it was rather easy to maneuver the mop up kiosks drivers all around the place and easily distribute the ice cream.
The end result was that within 6 hours and 30 minutes mop/up kiosks distributed 7,000 WEGE POPS. This story suggests that innovative and creative out of home advertising can yield great and successful results.
