Amazon is an American e-commerce and cloud computing company based in Seattle, Washington. It is the biggest e-commerce website with a large number of customers. Recently, they came up with a quirky and engaging campaign which was carried by Times OOH and Wizcraft International Entertainment.

The campaign included a festive band which entertained people at various places such as airports and metro stations with lyrics highlighting promising deals for the festive sale. The marketing gimmick saw people participating enthusiastically.

The festival band was also seen on the streets of India which has been spotted at unique places playing tunes of famous songs with a festive flavor in lyrics.

The event was managed by Times OOH and Wizcraft International Entertainment. The band played songs spontaneously and helped people get entertained with lyrics with an agenda of selling exciting deals which are set to popular ‘90s music for the festive sale in the month of October.

The band surprised onlookers at busy locations such as airports and metro stations where the band played songs spontaneously and encouraged travelers to join in the song and dance with the Amazon Festival Band.

Moreover, a band like that mostly reflects celebrations across India, which is why they were spread across different consumer touch-points on TV, digital, radio to spread awareness about the Amazon Great Indian Festival.

The quirky and cheeky initiative left the correct impact. Right from identifying locations and getting permissions, to booking the bands, making the costumes and learning the lyrics were challenges that the team faced but the success of  activations across the cities was witnessed with the participation of the people wholeheartedly.
