In an innovative outdoor advertising campaign, thousand of truckers were a part of the Truck Branding Campaign designed by brand Gulf Oil in collaboration with and RoadAds.
It is a known fact that truck drivers and single truck operators are very difficult to reach as they are always on the move. At the same time, truck drivers being the target audience, it is important to get their attention.
Therefore, Gulf Oil Branded Trucks were used to create visibility amongst the target group covering important national and state highways, dhabas, driver meeting spots and transport hubs.
Around 225 branded trucks travelled on national and state highways and halted at popular driver assembly points. A large number of Gulf Oil Dealers and Distributors were reached out to alongside boosting their confidence to sell and vouch for the product.
The routes covered by the branded trucks were Mumbai to Delhi/ Chandigarh, Ambala to Kolkata, Mumbai to Kolkata, Mumbai to Hyderabad, Mumbai to Chennai, Chennai to Kolkata, Rajasthan Local, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Local.
Moreover, as the target audience is spread across India and belongs to different cultures as well as speaks diverse languages, the creative was created in local languages like Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil that were used to connect easily with drivers highlighting facts about the product.
This helped in the generation of queries from truckers, retailers and mechanics related to product price, dealership, grade, km change, nearby distributors, etc.
