Drytac recently came into news upon its announcement of SpotOn SynPaper for HP PageWide XL printers. This is a new introduction wherein a 120μ (4.8 mil) white matte polypropylene film is coated with a dot pattern printed pressure-sensitive polyacrylate adhesive. This coating is done only on one side of the film. This synthetic paper is highly ink-receptive and has been especially designed specifically for printing with HP PageWide technology. Though aptly compatible with HP PageWide technology, it also gives equally good results when paired with other technologies – such as aqueous and UV inkjet.
The printer is ideal for the printing vibrant graphics for multiple indoor applications, such as those required for trade shows, seasonal sales, Point of Sale, and more. It can also be hand applied i.e. it offers a bubble-free adhesive feature for windows, walls and various other panel applications.
Steve Broad, Sales Director for Drytac Europe, said, “Our SpotOn range has become increasingly popular, and we’ve worked closely with HP to develop an easy-to-apply and easy-to-remove graphics solution for HP PageWide XL printers. Profiled and validated by HP, SpotOn SynPaper provides HP PageWide XL users with a new product for signage market.”
