AEG and Toshiba are going hand-in-hand in deploying more digital signage across North America and Europe. It has especially taken up the task of upgrading and updating the digital signage requirements for the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, The famous O2 in London, L. A. LIVE in Los Angeles and the new Mercedes Platz are also the venues under focus. Toshiba, currently acting as the official provider of digital signage and POS technology for the AEG entertainment facilities, is planning to renovate the LED screens at L. A. Live. It is expected to cost around $5 million.
Toshiba has shared its plan of rolling about 315 new screens and more than 100 POST systems at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Not only that, the company also bring alive an interactive zone at the Mercedes-Benz Arena which will feature video walls, touch displays, game scores, video highlights and various other augmented reality activates to engage its visitors.
