Epson India made news when it announced launch of its new Epson SureColor P5000 17-inch wide-format Inkjet printer. Sized at 17 inch, the new printer is laced with the latest imaging technologies. It also has PrecisionCore TFP printhead and Epson Precision Dot screening technologies.
Further, high-end technologies like contrast ratio and resin encapsulation technology that gloss uniformity and optically clearer images, much sharper images are produced. The SureColor P5000 can support two different ink configurations; the SureColor P5000 Standard and Designer Light Black ink for support of the Epson Advanced Black and White print mode.
The feature-rich SureColor P5000 has media handling capabilities with auto-switching between the high-capacity front paper cassette and roll media feeder. It’s power-driven roll media spindle is best suited for producing panoramas as well as roll printing up to 100-feet. Its high-capacity cassette can hold up to 100 sheets of premium paper of dimensions from 8 x 10 to 17 x22-inch. The SureColor P5000 also has a front feed straight path for delicate fine art sheet media, including poster board, up to 1.5mm thick.
