Aslan Selbstklebefolien GmbH, Germany, has released a new Transparent polyester digital printing film with outdoor durability of 3 years. According to the company, this self-adhesive digital printing film is manufactured with 70 % content of post-consumer recycled polyester (PET) made of shredded and cleaned plastics (70 % PCR-PET equals 120 recycled PET bottles). The film is ideally suitable for applications on flat surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.
Its glossy surface ensures high-quality printing with latex and UV curable inks while not only being PVC free but also being equipped with a solvent-free adhesive. The new film can be used in optimal combination with the PVC free lamination film LoopLam Aslan SRL 19. The LoopPet Clear Aslan DRP 18 matches perfectly with the recycled PET laminate LoopLam Aslan SRL 19 – a PVC free, environmentally friendlier and forward-thinking combination of recycled plastics for more sustainable digital printing.

The high transparency makes the film perfectly suited for applications on (shop) windows. It has a clean removable, solvent-free adhesive, suitable for wet applications. Moreover, Solvent-free adhesive ensures an eco-friendly combination of film and adhesive. It has high dimensional stability and no shrinkage. It is classified according to Euroclass flame retardant standard DIN EN 13501-1: B-s1, d0.
Meanwhile, Aslan has also introduced a perfect all-around solution for extremely difficult surfaces – MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 sticks. With a solvent vapour and lubricating oil-resistant adhesive formulation, the polymeric, glossy digital printing film offers assurance for the most difficult applications. These include Trailer surfaces, such as plywood panels, which are often equipped with a very dirt-repellent surface; Decals on construction vehicles, and agricultural and industrial machines, that are subject to extreme mechanical stress and heavy pollution; Other demanding applications include campers and mobile homes, petrol pumps, low-energy substrates, ABS plastics, motocross vehicles – wherever extreme conditions prevail, MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 is an optimal solution.
Despite its extremely high adhesive strength, MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 can be cleanly removed from low-energy surfaces as well as from steel – not leaving any residue. The MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 is an addition to ASLAN’s excellent portfolio of speciality digital print media, equipped with long-term removable to ultra-strong adhesive systems. The MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 can be removed from low-energy surfaces and steel without leaving any film or adhesive residue. It can also be applied at low temperatures from -10° C and therefore offers flexibility and security in one.
