UK-based corrugated packaging manufacturer Durham Box has purchased EFI Nozomi C18000 single-pass, ultra-high-speed LED inkjet corrugated packaging press from Electronics For Imaging, Inc. This has been done by the company to optimise its production process and provide superior-quality imagery for customers.
The 1.8-meter wide Nozomi press operates at speeds up to 246 linear feet (75 linear meters) per minute and will offer more application possibilities for its customers. It will help in saving time significantly in production, outstanding image quality and the ability to create personalised prints. Moreover, it provides the company the capability to increase productivity on short- and medium-run jobs.
The new ultra-high-speed Nozomi inkjet press is part of a complete ecosystem for corrugated production available from EFI, with leading edge inks, EFI Fiery digital front end technology and an EFI Corrugated Packaging Suite manufacturing execution system workflow.
