Times OOH was established in 2005 and have emerged as the undisputed leader in the Indian outdoor advertising industry. They have brought life to OOH advertising’s inherent benefits of freshness, freedom and scale by innovative display and engagement options. With the number of bus shelter coming up it is a necessity that they are also monitored diligently.
Keeping that in mind, Times OOH has recently set up an automated real-time monitoring system to keep a track of lighting of ad panels and state of emergency lights on 26 BQS (bus queue shelters) in Delhi. The system is controlled through a mobile app and web URL.
The systems help in the controlling of lighting on BQS media across all target locations as well as help track the energy consumption data. Furthermore, it helps in auto-scheduling of media lighting as per a specific date and time in the bus shelters. Real-time status of the lighting of Advertisement Panels & Emergency Lights can be shared with the controller/ administrator via notification.
According to a Times OOH official, “We are proud to state that this pilot project has been successful. In keeping with our company values of transparency, integrity and customer centricity, we are able to track and report illumination status of these BQS and take immediate action in case of any deviations. Also, as a responsible corporate citizen, Times OOH is able to optimize the time for which the shelters are illuminated, reducing electricity wastage.”
