A leader in outdoor advertising, Times OOH has added more feathers in its cap. It has bagged two new contracts, one each in domestic and overseas. The first contract is for exclusive advertising rights at the Indore Airport, while the other is for Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius.
The latter is a great moment of joy for the company as it is the first time any Indian outdoor advertising company has set its foot abroad. Out of about 3.8 million passengers at Mauritius airport annually, 95% are international passengers. This fact makes this contract of even greater strategic importance. The company will set up 42 digital screens, glass wraps, wall wraps and promotional zones.
The 10-year contract for Indore Airport has come less than 12 months after the company secured exclusive media contracts at two other airports in India – Coimbatore and Tiruchirappalli. These three airports are located in cities selected for the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. It also owns advertising rights to the biggest airports in India: Delhi and Mumbai.
It is estimated that the annual passenger growth rate is at +27%, which provides a great opportunity for the OOH industry to advertise at airports. The company said that it plans to set up 34 digital screens and a video wall.
