Recently, RMC Digital Print invested in systems and software from Durst manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies which has definitely revolutionised wide format printing for the printing company. With the latest investment, the company is enjoying unrivalled print quality.
Durst has installed a Rho 512R Plus 5 meter wide 12-picoliter UV inkjet machine with leading-edge Durst Quadro Array printheads along with Variodrop technology and uses multiple impulses for modulating drop sizes. The investment for trade printer RMC Digital Print based in Hull comes after a £1million programme of investment for additional print capacity and doubling production workspace.
The roll-to-roll production printer complements the Durst Rho P10 inkjet flatbed installed two years ago at RMC Digital Print, which included a white configuration to enable the company to continue producing multi-layered backlit work. With the latest double white configuration on the 512R Plus, RMC Digital Print can produce better quality, partly illuminated flex face and textile graphics for the signage and exhibition sectors.
The company is extremely glad about the recent addition as the new 5m wide Durst will revolutionise the way wide format printing is looked at. This printer is an amazing bit of kit and will change the current scenario around flex face skins and soft signage in particular.
