Participation in an award competition is more important than winning an award. And winning the award surely brings cheers to the entire behind the entry project. Everyone has a story to tell and knows and participation in Award competitions is important to create a sense of belongingness and celebrate creativity. And, in the past, some of the top-notch Indian graphics PSPs had participated and won awards in two premier international competitions such as SGIA (now Printing United Alliance), USA and FESPA, UK.
Here comes the PRINTING United Alliance Premier PRINT Awards competition 2022. It is the industry’s prestigious award of recognition honoring the very best in print communications. The awards recognize excellence in quality, creativity, and innovation.
The Premier PRINT Awards is an all-inclusive industry competition that represents all areas and categories of print—screen, offset, digital, wide format, flexographic, letterpress, gravure printing, and embellishments/enhancements—produced by commercial printers, sign/display shops, package printers/converters, in-plants, trade binderies/finishers, graphic designers, and students. The entry samples, produced between January 31, 2021 and May 15, 2022 are eligible for the award competition.
For the Wide Format Inkjet Printing Award, the Categories are: Backlit Display, Printing on all types translucent/clear plastic, both rigid and roll, Display and POP on Paper and Board, Printing on paper & board, corrugated, and in-store displays, Display and POP on Plastic, Printing on all types of plastics, including plastic banners and lenticular sheets, Décor – Wide Format Inkjet Printing, Printing on wall coverings, floor coverings including carpets and rugs, Banner, Imagery and text on flexible substrates, textile or otherwise, which generally convey a commercial or promotional message, Poster/Fine Art – Wide Format Inkjet Printing, Reproductions of fine art intended for use as decoration, Vehicle Wrap Installer, Printing and installation of vehicle wraps (commercial, fleet, or private), Building Graphics Installer, Printing and installation of building wraps (interior or exterior), Transfer of a design onto a material or fabric using ink and heat.
All award winners will be displayed at PRINTING United where tradeshow attendees will vote on their favorite entry. People’s Choice Award will be presented at the PRINTING United Expo.
