The Media Expo Mumbai is being held from 12 to 14th May 2022 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai. The Federation of Airport Media Owners (FAMO) has extended support to Media Expo Mumbai to accentuate the growing influence of Airport-Out-of-Home advertising in India. India’s renowned Ad guru, KV Sridhar a.k.a Pops is expected to inaugurate the exhibition in Mumbai, along with chief dignitaries from the Federation of Airport Media Owners (FAMO) and Maharashtra Mudran Parishad (MMP).
With its 48th edition, Media Expo will unite advertising and creative professionals, including manufacturers, advertising agencies, interior designers, architects and other players to witness the evolution of advertising in India. There will be the presence of over 100 brands on its show floors. The trade fair will display the latest technological capabilities in indoor and OOH advertising, printing, static and digital signage, retail displays, finishing and fabrication, as well as consumables and media.
New trends and technological capabilities in Indoor and OOH advertising will be demonstrated by various products and service providers. Visitors from the signage industry can get ideas about ‘Maximizing Brand Impact’, and explore and source printing, signage and retail display solutions.
Elaborating on the increasing impact of digital signage and the trade fair, Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, said: “Digitising OOH spaces have opened up a massive opportunity – both for signage manufacturers, advertisers and media owners. Especially with things now back to normal and rising footfalls in airports, metros, malls, and other key engagement areas, the digital signage industry can move up a gear to become a more dominant force in advertising, alongside the traditional OOH.”
To inform the advertising fraternity about the growing AOOH sector in India and explore new digital signage technologies to integrate into their AOOH ecosystem, the Federation of Airport Media Owners (FAMO), the apex body that brings together all Media Owner Organisations in the Airport Out-Of-Home (AOOH) space in India has extended its support to Media Expo Mumbai 2022.
An exclusive whitepaper on ‘Indian Digital Signage Industry 2022 – 2028’ will also be unveiled by 6W Research during the trade fair. The report will provide the industry with an overview and forward-looking analysis of India’s growing digital signage advertising segment.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) recent move of making it mandatory for shops to use signage boards with regional language is set to create an influx of business opportunities for the signage industry in India.
