Retaining Customers’ loyalty in today’s highly competitive world, depends largely on the suppliers/vendors who should not only be supplying quality machines at a competitive price but also offering 100% reliable after-sales service, opines Rajat Ajmani, Director of R.K. Multimedia Advertising (P) Ltd, Noida, a complete advertising and event solution providers to different sectors. He was referring to his company’s choice for the ColorJet brand. As a loyal customer of ColorJet, they have installed a 10 ft Vulcan – High Speed 3.2M Roll-To-Roll Printer UV LED Inkjet Printer in November 2021. ColorJet’s Vulcan – High Speed 3.2 M Roll-To-Roll Printer is embedded with UV LED lamps for the curing process and has several benefits which make printing more economical and ecological. It enables to print on heat-sensitive substrates, viz. thin slides, self-adhesive sheet, stretch PVC materials, etc.
He revealed that his company has been relying on ColorJet/Roland for all their investment needs since the 1990s with the purchase of Roland plotter. “Our first association with ColorJet started in 1992 with the purchase of Roland plotter which is still working and they never failed on the service front. Now we have Colorjet – Irisjet, Colorjet – Neptune, Colorjet – Hot & Cold Lamination, Roland Plotter. So, ColorJet Group’s products are not only of high quality but their after-sales service is most reliable as they have a dedicated team. In hectic production units like us if suppliers fail to provide on-time service, we may incur a huge loss as our production schedules may get disturbed,” says Rajat Ajmani, adding, “And that is why we source inks also from them and do not go for 3rd party inks, available at a lesser price. We are aware that there is no guarantee on the print head if we buy 3rd party inks.”
He makes it a point to add: “Let me tell you that these, days the new element of ColorJet’s customer service is that they refer customers to us and that is a big advantage.”
Established in 1980 under the name of R.K Advertisers, R.K. Multimedia Advertising (P) Ltd offers Outdoor/Indoor signage, Events, Exhibitions, Printing, Designing services. The company was founded by Rajeev Ajmani. Later in 2003, the name was changed to R.K. Multimedia Advertising (P) Ltd. The company’s production 15000 sq.ft.production facility has UV, solvent, eco-solvent printers, flatbed and roll to roll digital printers, Lamination and Laser cutting machines and all pre-press and post-press facilities.
Since the company caters to FMCGs, electronics and automobile sectors for advertising and signage, they often outsource commercial printing. “For corporate, we cannot say ‘no’ to any of their print requirements; if we do not have certain facilities, we have to outsource and meet their needs, else they would go to another vendor,” says Rajan Ajwani.
Commenting on the Covid impact on their business, he says: “Owing to Covid our business had affected, but now it is picking up and we hope the future will be good. We could survive as we have a wide range of products and services. As for the management during Covid, we took care of our employees some of whom have been working for 15-25 years and we kept them on our regular payroll.”
