Surat-based Kreative A2Z LLP., the sister concern of Ele1 Art and Design, has invested in Zund digital cutting machine especially to make prototypes of various products such as rigid packaging, POP/POS products, corporate gifts, etc. In addition to Zund, their 16×160 ft. production unit has laser cutting and laser marking machines, a lathe machine, 3D Printer and a product and graphic design team.
Kreative A2Z is a new start-up whereas their sister concern, Ele1 Art (sounds 11 Art!) is an advertising and design agency, present in the market for over 12 years. “I am a qualified artist and graphic designer and I am passionate about product designs” says Shenit Nair who originally hails from Kerala but settled in Surat.
When asked about his company’s role in signage, Nair said: “We will use Zund digital cutting machine even to make signage and POPs. We can do an In-shop display products prototypes for FMCGs, etc. We also plan to export our product prototypes as we have obtained import/export licenses.”
While giving thumbs up to the Zund cutting machine, Nair avers, “It was in my mind for many years. I had seen this machine in some exhibitions. When the time was ripe for investment I chose Zund as it is embedded with a lot of features and a fine finishing. We had seen many other brands, but none of them matched Zund’s performance. The company’s engineers have helped us with installation and guided us in sample making. Since we are offering a product prototype, we can use Zund to cut any type of substrates except stone, glass, metal.”
