With the impactful & successful 3rd edition, GARTEX India reaches the next milestone for the garmenting and textile manufacturing fraternity in India. The show yielded a majestic platform to 150 exhibitors displaying around 300+ brands across halls 8, 9, 10 & 11 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in an expanded area of 1,00,000 Sq. Ft.
The 2018 edition of GARTEX witnessed 18,100 trade visitors who elevated the spirit of the show all in a span of three days. The pulsating energy and the diverse crowd certainly added to the zeal of the environment. The murmur of negotiating buyers & exhibitors was entwined with the vibrations & growling of Digital Textile Printing Machines.

The trade show proved as a compelling platform for DIGITEX which offered an exclusive focus on Digital Textile Printing Technology to which Hall 11 of Pragati Maidan was completely dedicated. DIGITEX facilitated assemblage of top brands from all across the country & the world which along with live demonstrations displayed innovations and trends in the segment.
The show catered to an exclusive platform for national & international suppliers and trade visitors to increase their expanse in the digital textile printing solutions in India. This feat was made possible via networking & engagement opportunities offered by DIGITEX at Gartex.
The show category Digitex was imbibed into Gartex due to many advantages of Digital Textile Printing such as highly affordable, environment-friendly, diversity as well as the immaculate accuracy of colour & print.
Popular Brands Go Live with Innovative Products
The high point for the show was the Swiss Digital Printing major, Mouvent – the Platinum Sponsor of Gartex 2018, displayed its most advanced digital printing solutions for which it has received an overwhelming response. Mouvent, a leader in textile printing using pioneering digital technology, displayed TX801 digital textile inkjet printer. The TX801 uses a compact proprietary print engine based on Mouvent Cluster technology, and processes knitted, woven and non-woven textiles with a maximum fabric width of 1,820 mm, with roll diameters of up to 400mm. It was the first printer from Mouvent, which has a full product line of digital printers to be introduced in the months ahead.

Apart from the digital textile printing machines, a complete range of pre & post-treatment equipment, a wide array of inks, sublimation paper, heat transfer machines, sublimation machines & direct-to-garment printing machines were also displayed at the show which successfully attracted buyers and acted as networking points.
Negijet put forth Negijet TX R-1900 which is a digital textile printer. They also displayed Brother GTX 422 which is a Direct Garment Printer (DTG) and Mutoh VJ-1948WX, a Sublimation Printer. Mimaki India with their original inkjet technology and cutting technology showcased products such as TX 300P-1800B and TS 300P-1800. Britomatics India displayed products namely Allwin digital printer & Inktec sublimation ink which cater to the commercial graphics industry. Apsom technologies displayed their latest digital textile printer, KM Nassenger Pro 120 & dye sublimation paper transfer printer. The various products on display by Indo Asia Machines were namely, Kizashi Sublimation Printer, Atexco Sublimation Printer, XC03 Direct Digital Printer & 100m per hour heat transfer machine.
DCC Group is one of the most trusted textiles printing solutions brand that showcased a dynamic range of products namely, Epson, Aleph, Monti Antonio, Jetcol, JTeck, DGI, Monna Lisa, Black Horse, M & R, Newmen.
Jaysynth which is a leading exporter of dyes and chemicals displayed digital ink to fulfill the needs of specialty products at the show. J.N. Arora & Co. Pvt. Ltd. came up with a range of products such as DTG (Polyprint), sublimation printers (Smartjet), heat transfer machine 1620 (Cheran), print & cut media for textile (SISER), cutting plotter (Graphtec).
One of the country’s biggest manufacturers of garment printing machinery, Colorjet, showcased its model Vastrajet, which is a world-class digital textile printer designed to print directly onto various types of natural & synthetic fabrics. Another direct-to-garment machine was model TE-1600 from Tanya Enterprises. Also the other major attraction among the visitors was entry level sublimation printers. Mehta CAD CAM Systems launched their sublimation printers for the first time at the event.

Gartex 2018 was immensely successful in attracting visitors from different parts of the country and the world. The arrival of business owners from smaller towns like Indore, Bhillai, Siliguri, Ludhiana & Bhopal, apart from leading players from Textile Hubs such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur & Bangalore, who also visited the show, hints that this exhibition reaches the masses. Also, many international players from China, Korea & Japan visited the show to uncover technological advances in digital textile printing machines.
In 2018 edition, the show had four other segments besides DIGITEX under which the exhibiting companies displayed their products namely; EMBROIDERY MACHINES: Highlighting innovations in Embroidery sector, GARMENTING & APPAREL MACHINERY: Showcasing technological developments in the Garment & Apparel manufacturing sector, FABRIC & ACCESSORIES PAVILION: A focused area to source all embellishments & fabrics and newly added DENIM SHOW: A zone that aims to bring together the denim supply chain under one roof.
Broad exhibit categories at Gartex 2018 included embroidery machines, cutting and sewing machines, fabrics & accessories, needles & threads, laundry & washing equipment, finishing equipment, laser cutting machines, automation and software.
