After Portugal and Spain – India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of wide format inkjet digital printers, ColorJet India has made its mark in Italy.
Recently, the company has appointed Full Printing Solutions (FPS) as its distributor to cater to the needs of markets in Italy. FPS Offers a wide range of products from the best brands dedicated to the digital printing markets, small and large format and interior designs covering aspects of hardware, support, inks and media. FPS is currently associated with some of the biggest brands in the category, while the association with ColorJet has only strengthened its capabilities.
ColorJet’s Polo HQ was the first fleet that FPS bought in accordance to participate in VISCOM ITALIA 2018 and market testing of the same in the region. Polo HQ from ColorJet is an eco-solvent printer with independent drive technology which enables users to print 3.2m wide media at the speed of 1,175sq/ft./hr.
Polo HQ can print multiple media with piezoelectric printheads which allows more control over the shape and size of ink droplet release. The tiny fluctuations in the crystal allow for smaller droplet sizes and hence higher nozzle density.
Also, unlike with thermal technology, the ink does not have to be heated and cooled between each cycle. This saves time, and the ink itself is tailored more for its absorption properties than its ability to withstand high temperatures. This allows more freedom for developing new chemical properties in printing inks.
Speaking on the association, Cornelia Helm, Marketing & Purchase Manager with FPS, says, “We are very happy to announce our association with India’s largest Manufacturer of digital inkjet printer, we have recently participated in VISCOM ITALIA 2018 to display ColorJet’s Polo HQ, The show was great for us with a lot of enquires from the customers.” She later confirmed that the machine has been sold to a client who visited the show. “Installation of the machine will soon commence at the customer’s place by ColorJet’s technical team.”
