Why did you think of your current profession although around the world there are numerous other career opportunities?
The whole world is suffering from issues occurring due to Climate Change. Eradicating hazardous products which are PVC based, for example, flex that contributes to Climate Change from the industry should be a top priority especially when a cleaner alternative is available, ie, fabric/ cloth banner media etc. With the support of the government in adapting to the current requirements, I can’t think of a better career opportunity.
Since our industry is male-dominated, was it difficult initially to adjust yourself?
I did have a few difficulties when I was working in Bangalore. But to my surprise, people in Mumbai have more than welcomed me and I am so grateful for that.
Your observation about the trends now and in future in advertising…branding and signage industry…
Advertising is the soul of every business house, the future of advertising looks very bright according to me and especially, after the recovery from Covid. People are now stepping out without fear, offices and public places are now fully functioning and this only increases the scope of advertising. However, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine could have a bearing on businesses which might affect advertising.
