Kernow announced its latest innovations; KernowJet MetaliK Cut&Print® and MetaliK Inkjet® at an event recently. Using ultra-dimensionally-stable
polyester films the research teams of Kernow has come up with the range of MetaliK® sheets which has widths upto 60 inches and when applied on glass gives an amazing metallic finish look.
Now with the new technology of shrinking letters on a hot south facing window those days of ugly ¬exposed adhesive edges are gone. KernowJet MetaliK® Cut & Print is basically a double-sided 74μm metallic, polyester film with fine metallic effect. Its thickness provides stability to it and making it easier for customers to cut even if needed in small complex shapes, letters and logos. They are compatible all standard eco-solvent, UV-curable and latex inks and can also be wetapplied and cleaned easily.
The 76μm KernowJet MetaliK® Inkjet on the other hand is one-sided with a high-tack, waterproof, permanent adhesive. Best suited for purpose of laminating on boards, there are three types of films available in this range that meet the highest standards of packaging, doming, or any other POS applications.
Bosy Colak, President – Kernow North America, commented – “We approached our R&D team with a challenge – create something special – which they have done and then some! The wide format market was in need of a new, bright, innovative product for packaging, signs, and graphics. MetaliK®goes above and beyond expectations when it comes to high-performance metallic solutions.”
