Mermaid Digital Pvt. Ltd, and Indian arm of Mermaid Digital Printing LLC, Dubai, has recently moved to their new 8000 sq.ft premise in Bengaluru. Mermaid Digital Pvt. Ltd was established in Bengaluru in 2008. The company undertakes Digital Fabric Printing, High-Quality Graphics, Signage and Tubular Displays.
The founding directors of Mermaid Digital Group are Praveen Koovan, Manoj Chandy, Hari Krishnan, Mathew Vincent. The company’s 8000 sq.ft facility is headed by Pravin Binjalvabi, designated as DGM and Head of India Operations. They have a 3 Metre Roll to Roll Direct to Fabric and Sublimation printers, and also one HP Latex and a team for quality and premium projects execution. The company is specialised in flags for branding and promotion. “We have extensive experience in printing flags for a wide range of purposes. We can print from a tabletop flag to giant flags above 10 M,” says Praveen S B.
Some of the notable projects executed by them include Exclusive Printing and Production vendors for Exhibition Centres in different cities, Corporate branding in terms of retail; Office or Campus Branding for startups as well MNCs. They had undertaken nationally important events and exhibitions. The company has also catered to many government-sponsored projects such as Swatch Bharat, etc. Moreover, Sports events such as IPL, ISL, are another major area of their business.
Explaining the M-Display Product concept, introduced by the company a few years ago, Praveen adds: “Our M-Display Product is exclusively made for events and exhibitions, Mall branding, retail indoor branding, etc clients can save a lot of time and space. And, we have taken this concept to the Middle East and we promote it in the global event and exhibition industry in a big way. It is easy to carry, fix and dismantle. It does not have hard nuts and bolts, it is made of pure aluminium, and anyone can assemble it based on the installation reference guide provided by us. The whole erection or dismantling can be done in 15-20 minutes. Even if it is big size, it can be just bundled and put in a car. In the past, we had supplied this to Jaguar, Tatas, Swiggy, Himalaya and many IT companies, mobile companies like Samsung, MI etc.”
Noting down some of the notable achievements of the company, he says: “We have received ‘Innovative Service Provider Award’ from Exhibition Showcase, ‘Outstanding Service Award from IEIA (Indian Exhibition Industry Association). We have also received many appreciation letters from various Indian and International Event organisers.”
Revealing on the plans and his thought on diversification, Praveen says: “Currently we are looking to streamline our operations post Covid and gradually we would like to add new machinery and technologies into our production facilities. I feel it is better to be, and invest in core business instead of looking here and there without having skills and manpower.”
