Ajit Chaudhari, Managing Director at Man Resources/Easysign India, has delightfully announced the launch of a new concept called Lollypop signage product made out of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP). This oval-shaped Lollypop signage stand can be placed on road dividers or gardens for branding.
Man Resources (Easysign India) was hitherto engaged in the supply of Signage and Branding concepts, Delivery / OOH | DOOH | Airport | Metro /Curator for Branding and Signage Products, Digital Marketing Hardware, Facade Lighting, Glow Garden, for Night Tourism, etc. With an in house team – from design to installation working hand in hand under one roof – which consists of a draftsman, fabricator for steel, wood, fibreglass, aluminium and outdoor installation team with its equipment.
However, now the company is focusing on supplying only standard signage products which are marketed online. The company also will introduce a Backlit box wherein shops etc have to just insert the print and change whenever they want. E.g. discount scheme etc. Right now the company is offering their product online but plans are underway to appoint offline dealers who are ready to work on a pan India basis.
Recounting an incident that compelled them to design and make their Lollypop signage product, Ajit Chaudhari says: “Since we are into signage industry, we received an enquiry for two pieces of signage stand. We approached some vendors but they declined to supply, saying that they entertain only volume orders. So, with determination to delight our client, we decided to do it on our own and it came out very well. We soon launched it as a new concept. We received another order for 40 pieces and then 100 pieces. One more order is underway for 400 pieces. This is how the curiosity and responses are generated for a new concept like Lollypop signage stand.”
Explaining the product offerings, Ajit Chaudhari says that as the salvage value of the product is almost zero, the chances of theft are low. The product is for outdoor and indoor usage, and it can be supplied in the required colour. Digital UV printed vinyl helps in highlighting the required branding with good outdoor life. Since the product is being made in FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), it is anti-rust and maintenance-free having a long outdoor life.”
He adds: “Our product is a good option for simple branding in public places such as gardens. The corporate that sponsors public garden development (owned by Municipality) or traffic islands, need this kind of signage tool, as they are permitted to put up their branding with just a logo. Also, they have to put up the Municipal Corporation’s logo as well.”
In addition to outdoor usage, the Lollypop signage product is also useful for indoors such as in shopping malls, hospitals, hotels and other commercial establishments as well this kind of sign stand can be used with simple messages such as doctor in/out, way to lift, no smoking, no parking, silence please, Wayfinder, sign near the lift, staircase, etc.
Chaudhari explains that the Lollypop signage stand is a standard product, but color can be changed, and the available shape would be round, oval or rectangular. Corporate has to put just their logo or brand name with UV printing. We offer removable stand and permanent fix type stand for gardens etc.
Twenty-two years ago, after a visit to an exhibition in Dubai, Ajit Chaudhari, an Electronics Engineer has had a big turning point in his career. After his engineering, he worked in UAE for a few years. He stepped into his family business which was then known as Ajit Enterprises, offering signage fabrication services. A regular participant (5 times) in Media Expo Mumbai edition, he believes in the power of in-person exhibitions. However, owing to the new age concept of online marketing, he is now promoting his new range of products online to reach out to the maximum prospective customers all over the world.
The company is in the process of moving into new premises from Mumbai to Vasai at the outskirt of the megacity. The 3000 sqft factory will produce ready to use, standard indoor and outdoor signage products such as Lollypop stands, etc.
The company has discontinued all its customized products range in signage. “Our kids are studying and have plans to pursue the career of their choice. And, every business and individual undergoes a fade-in and fade-out phase. I do not have a successor for my current business and owing to the age factor, we have changed our business strategy to offer standard products and sell them online,” says Ajit Chaudhari, adding, “There are many players in the general product category, but very people offer specialized products. And, in our case, we will also offer just a one-piece or any quantity of our new products.”
He asserts: “Today technology is changing, needs of customers are also changing, competition is hot, too many players in the same kind of product and services. Since there are fewer people who are offering specialized products that too in small quantity, we stand to gain when it comes to our Lollypop signage products.”
Since these days customers see the bottom line and want to save every penny, the challenge is to explain the overall benefit of the product vs. Price, says Ajit Chaudhari, adding, “Because cheap is always not the good option, but a new concept like ours, has a price and the value they are paying is not for physical product but the concept and our industry expertise. In our case, not only we are offering simple to use new concept but also we are ready to supply 1 or 2 pieces or any quantity which is not the case with many vendors.”
He concludes: “I feel we have to identify the problems of the customers and find right solutions to them…. whether it is application or quantity. In our case, we found it difficult to get one or two pieces of signage stand and we had to do it ourselves. So, once you offer solutions to clients’ problems, there would be repeat orders and referrals. This way you can grow in business with a multiplier effect. This is a message to the youngsters.”
