Arrow Digital has recently installed EFI Pro 24f Flatbed Printer at its state-of-the-art Demo Center in Ahmedabad. Speaking on the occasion, Sam Patel, CEO and Managing Director, Arrow Digital says, “After a long break, we are back and have installed the EFI Pro 24f to hit the rigid market and show the possibilities with the EFI Pro 24f flatbed printer. With this, we appeal to industry stakeholders to stay positive and try to quickly bounce back to route in the post COVID19 business.”
According to Patel, this is an extremely painful time for companies across the world. “Even as the pandemic continues to take its toll, we at Arrow are amplifying our commitment to ensure that the business keeps moving on wherein EFI Pro 24f is an important addition to our portfolio. Many of our customers were inquiring about a robust flatbed printer which could accomplish high value applications with unmatched quality and speed, we are sure the EFI Pro 24f flatbed will address all those requirements.”
The EFI Pro 24f prints high-value applications, such as lenticulars, membrane switches, photographic backlit displays and irregularly shapes and heavy objects. It boasts print speeds up to 1157 sqft/hr, 1200 x 1200 dpi image quality and low curing temperatures that enable substrate diversity for higher-margin work. The EFI Pro 24f expands the possibilities and helps to serve customers in better and broader ways. It is amazingly flexible and is able to handle media as thick as a 2 inch block of wood or as thin as a window cling. This flexibility makes the EFI Pro 24f stand ahead from its competition.
The EFI Pro 24f leverages variable drop grayscale printhead technology and four colours plus dual channels of white to produce precise, high quality applications on a wide variety of substrates, thin or thick, large or small. A multi-zoned vacuum table holds media of different sizes, helping to ensure tight registration and reliably high image quality. The EFI Pro 24f printer’s ‘cool cure’ LED technology can help users broaden revenue streams, putting less stress on low-cost, low-melting-point and added-value, high-margin.
This low energy consumption, combined with low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), less waste and consumables, also helps make the EFI Pro 24f an excellent option for environmentally conscious print operations. Includes an EFI Fiery® proServer Core digital front end, featuring FAST RIP acceleration technology, plus RIP and print on demand functionality or the ability to print pre-ripped files
Elaborating on the features, Patel says, “EFI now offers you a choice of inks when you order a new EFI Wide Format printer. Proprietary EFI ProGraphicsTM Series UV Inks have been custom-formulated based on real-world applications. EFI uses the same brilliantly coloured pigments in each of the EFI ProGraphics UV ink sets, so you can always get the same great extended colour gamut regardless of which ink set you choose. With EFI ProGraphics UV inks, you get the quality and performance you’d always expect from genuine EFI inks. Easy edge-to-edge printing (full bleed), reduced finishing time, and printing simultaneously on multi-board including different size boards are some of its highlights.”
Three options of EFI ProGraphics Series UV inks are there to best meet the application needs. EFI-3M™ ProGraphics UV ink for a wide range of flexible applications, including those that need to be stretched or heated or require the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty. EFI ProGraphics UV POP inks for the most diverse range of rigid board and flexible media printing of indoor and outdoor applications. EFI ProGraphics UV Rigid inks provide the best surface resistance and is ideal for printing on specialty rigid media, such as lenticular lenses, steel, aluminum and wood.
“In short, the EFI Pro 24f flatbed printer delivers the most powerful results with outstanding image quality at production speeds, broad colour gamut, optimised ink usage, and access to more profitable jobs,” asserts Patel.
