The small, simple and affordable DTG printer for cotton fabrics has been designed and developed to boost the prospects for businesses providing personalised solutions.
Apsom Infotex Ltd. the sole distributor of Roland DG’s range of printers in India has unveiled Roland’s VersaSTUDIO BT–12, desktop Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printer at the recently concluded Gifts World Expo 2019 in New Delhi.
The VersaSTUDIO BT-12 is simple and affordable DTG solution and can print directly onto cotton fabrics right from the desktop. With the ability to print directly onto white and other light-coloured fabrics up to 4mm thick, the printer offers 1200 DPI resolution – perfect for photo-quality printing.
Capable of printing directly on items made from 100% cotton to 50/50 fabric blends , BT-12 can be used to produce high-value personalised goods including t-shirts, tote bags, cushion covers and many more, thereby offering a high degree of production flexibility.
The BT-12 is powerful and easy to use so that anyone can create original products of exceptional quality without special skills or training. The optional cassette-type HB-12 finisher safely fixes the ink to the fabric, providing a complete printing process even in a retail environment. The software lets the user create designs easily from a tablet for effective sales in-store or at events.
The printer comes with the easy-to-use Roland Design Software, which features simple operation screens facilitating quick and easy importing and editing of the images. Ideal for desktop use even in stores or at events where space is limited, the printer can also be stacked on top of the HB-12 finisher to provide a complete printing process in the smallest possible space.
Speaking at the launch, Deborshi Paul Choudhury, Business Head at Apsom Infotex, said, “Our constant endeavour is to offer the best solutions to our customers and redefine the industry with superior quality and innovative products. He adds, “BT-12 is simple yet creative offering infinite customisation to help boost businesses by facilitating fast and unique personalisation.”
The APSOM Infotex stall saw heavy footfall from the numerous patrons at Gifts World Expo 2019 and customers from across India experienced the live demo of products showcased.
