Bus shelters are an effective medium to advertise brand and products. Recently, the bus shelters in Bangalore have been newly constructed along with being well designed energy-efficient. Moreover, offering a platform to cater to a larger audience.

Lately, Times OOH has been awarded a contract to design, build, operate and maintain a total of 700 Bus Queue Shelters (BQS) along with Public Utilities across the city of Bangalore. Currently, 400 are functional, spread across an area from International airport in North to Mysore road in South covering a stretch of 40 km & ITPL in East to Tumkur in West covering 30 km.

The main motive behind constructing these set of street furniture in a short period was to facilitate the makeover of the urban landscape of the city. Additionally, to serve the daily travellers at prime locations as well as provide shelters to citizens residing in remote locations like Kempapura, Summanahalli, etc. as there were no bus shelters.

Almost 70% of the total commuter traffic of Bangalore, which is estimated to be over 90 Lacs per day, is handled by Times OOH. Furthermore, these shelters are maintained and monitored diligently to monitor hygiene and safety.

According to the Times OOH representatives, “Constructing the bus shelters in Bangalore is a significant step towards developing the city’s infrastructure. This allows us the opportunity to expand the outdoor advertising network in the city driving immediate delivery of brand communication and enhancing customer’s reach. With many of the well-built street furniture, Times OOH further reinforces its position in the Indian outdoor advertising sector.”
