GSN’s famous “Window Warriors” series which is a skill-based competition that requires the participants to use resources from both art and commerce recently concluded on the network. The show winner, Timothy Howe walked away with a whooping $100,000 grand prize. Throughout the entire season, the 8 contestants who were designers by profession required to use Roland’s advanced wide-format printers and vinyl cutters to create innovative retail window displays.
Roland products were an integral part of the competition and the participants were challenged to design highly-creative eye-catching window displays within just three days of time. So, Roland provided the contestants with two of their most innovative wide-format digital inkjets – a VersaUV LEJ-640 hybrid UV printer and a SOLJET Pro-4 XR-640 eco-solvent printer/cutter – as well as a CAMM-1 GX-640 vinyl cutter.
Roland products were integral in assisting each of the “Window Warriors” contestants – all talented retail window designers – with their challenges to design and produce highly creative, eye-catching window displays. The result was outstanding as the final designs were nothing short of being absolutely jaw-dropping. The show was a tremendous success and so was the designs created. With detailed graphics, literally brought the backdrops alive!
