Taking creativity to an all-new level, MTV has launched an OOH campaign with live billboards to promote its two upcoming reality shows – Ace of Space and Elovator Pitch. The billboards went live in the month of October at a strategic location in Mumbai. The campaign aims to offer a glimpse into the themes of these shows so as to familiarise the audience with the content.
The theme of ‘Ace of Space’ has been presented by showing real people enacting the scenes straight out of the TV show. Some people displayed the fear and mayhem of being trapped in a small room as anchor Vikas Gupta shrank the room by pressing a button.
The billboard also presented the theme of its other show called ‘Elovator Pitch’ by featuring Cyrus Sahukar in 10 avatars as he crosses different floors on an elevator. The avatars represent 10 boys who are trying to woo one girl while riding a lift between two floors.
This concept-based advertising campaign has given a unique twist to the medium of billboards to show the reality of show’s content.
